Thanks so much for your interest in contributing! Our intention is two-fold: publish and promote content that is in line with our mission (amplifying female voices) as well as to provide a platform for writers/content creators to share their work.

At The State of Women we will happily welcome anyone who wants to contribute written or video content! The only requirement is that content fall within our mission of amplifying female voices/gender equity. Our Editor in Chief, Kimberly Hosey, will check all submissions and we do reserve the right to not publish content that is not in line with our mission or values.

Contributor options:

  • Weekly

  • Bi-weekly

  • Monthly

  • Ad-hoc

  • Publishing past work you’ve done

  • Video blogs/vlogs/interviews/podcasts/presentations/webinar recordings

To get started, kindly send an email to both David & Kimberly (david@thestateofwomen.org & kim@thestateofwomen.org) with a brief email including some background on you and why/what/how often you’d like to contribute! If you have past work that we can view, that would be great to send too. You can decide on a topic(s) that you would like to cover and/or our team are happy to brainstorm potential topics or even a series that is in line with our mission as well as something that excites/inspires you.

Any articles/videos that are submitted and approved will be posted to our blog as well as posted on our social media. Your name will be listed as the author and we can include one link of your choosing. If you become a regular contributor, we will also add your photo/bio to our Editorial Contributors section!
